Range Courses
        Pistol Operator

 

8-10 hour course in an field/range environment. Class is designed as an introduction on how to operate modern compact and full size semi automatic pistols with a 10 round or greater magazine capacity in a classroom/field setting. Students are to expect two hours of class time and 6-8 hours of range time firing around 150 to 200 rounds. The student is required to supply their own factory loaded ammunition and at least 2 magazines for their pistol. Additionally, students are required to bring a holster, eye protection, and ear protection to the course.

 

Cost: $115

        Carbine Operator
 

8-10 hour course in an field/range environment. Class is designed as an introduction on how to operate modern carbine/AR platform rifles with a 20-30 round magazine capacity in a classroom/field setting. Students are to expect two hours of class time and 6-8 hours of range time firing up to 300 rounds. The student is required to supply their own factory loaded ammunition and at least 2 magazines for their rifle. Additionally, students are required to bring eye protection and ear protection to the course. Optional items include: Rifle Sling, Tactical Vest or Plate Carrier with magazine pouches.

        Shotgun Operator

 

8-10 hour course in an field/range environment. Class is designed as an introduction on how to operate modern compact, full size personal defense pump, or semi automatic shotguns with a five round or greater magazine capacity in a classroom/field setting. Students are to expect one to two hours of class time and 6-8 hours of range time firing up to 100 rounds. The student is required to supply their on factory loaded ammunition. Additionally, students are required to bring eye protection and ear protection to the course.

 

Cost: $115

        Two Gun Operator

 

8-10 hour course in an field/range environment. Class is designed to build on basic fundamentals while operating two weapons in a field setting: modern carbines with a magazine capacity of 20 rounds or greater and modern semi automatic pistols with a magazine capacity of 10 rounds or greater. 

 

The Pistol Operator Course and the Carbine Operator Course are prerequisites to attending this course. A proficiency test to waive this requirement is available for a small fee.

 

Students can expect to fire around 250 to 350 rounds from their carbine and around 150 to 200 rounds from their pistol. The student is required to supply their own factory loaded ammunition, at least 6 magazines for their rifle and 3 magazines for their pistol. Additionally, students are required to bring a holster, rifle sling, tactical vest or plate carrier (with enough magazine pouches to hold all magazines) eye protection, and ear protection to the course.

 

Cost: $250

        Long Range Hunter

 

4 hour course in open discussion/seminar format. Class is designed as an introduction to long range shooting in a classroom setting.

        Survival Basics

 

4 hour course in an open discussion/seminar format. Class is designed as an introduction to key factors of survival in a classroom setting.

Survival Courses
        Practical Survival

 

2 day (afternoon, over night, and morning) course in a field environment. Class is designed to build on the basic fundamentals of survival for practical use.

 

The Survival Basics Course is a prerequisite to attending this course. Students should also be physically fit enough to run one mile without stopping.

4 hour course in an open discussion/seminar format. Class is designed as an introduction to camouflage and concealment in a classroom setting.

  • Use of Shadows

4 hour course in an open discussion/seminar format. Class is designed as an introduction to tracking in a classroom/field setting.

4 hour class in an open discussion format. Class is designed to bring a sense of awareness and understanding to general security and defense in a classroom setting.
